Winter Concerts are here again for the 15th time!
Traditional Winter Concerts are organized 29th of February and 7th of March 2020 klo 18. This time Winter Concerts are dedicated to music by Beethoven, Sallinen and Mozart.
Next year we celebrate 250-anniversary of Ludwig van Beethovenia ja 85-anniversary of Aulis Sallinen. The masterpieces Cello Sonata no. 3 and Violin Sonata "Kreutzer" by Beethoven are heard in the first Winter Concert. In addition, A Piano Trio "Les Visions Fugitives" by Sallinen, is heard at the end of the concert. The piece is a commissioned work for Naantali Music Festival from 2010.
The second Winter Concert is dediacted to W.A. Mozart. During the concert the best-known and loved works by Mozart are heard. The program includes pieces Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Vesperae solennes de confessore ja Ave verum corpus.
Winter Concerts are organized in cooperation with the cultural services of Naantali city. The tickets are available in Lippupiste, Visit Naantali and Ars Musica (in Turku concert hall).
