Send stories - win tickets

We want to collect your most memorable and cherished stories and photos about Naantali Music Festival into a jubilee publication. You can send us your memories and photos from the early years or what happened very recently. Your story can be short or long, amusing or touching.

The first Naantali Music Festival was held in the summer of 1980. The very first concert in Naantali church consisted of Mozart, Vivaldi and Brahms. Artistic Director Arto Noras' welcome speech still seems as fitting as ever: "Creating a new and lasting music festival institution in Finland is by no means a simple task in these uncertain economic times. Now, as the first Naantali Music Festival gets under way, I am nevertheless confident that the festival's timing, location and artistic standard will make Naantali a place well worth visiting for Finnish music lovers."

Please send your story or photo by June 30th, 2018. You can email them, send text through our website or write it freehand on the other side of this paper and place it in the collection box in the church foyer. You are also welcome to mail your story or copies of your photos. Please do not send originals as we cannot return them.
